edit: If you use this program alot an dont really care about the "new" features of iTunes 10 just downgrade to iTunes 9

same with me. iTunes 10 x64/ Windows-7 Ultimate x64 and C&V 1.4.4.0     Build  13.02.2010 20:41:44. The error message is as follows: "The xx files listed below were not recognized as a valid audio files.
A total of xx errors were found in xx files.  Files with more than one error will be listed more than once.
These files will not be added to the input file list.".

[Not AAC encoded - MPEG Layer3 Audio]

after an (unrequested) update from iTunes 9.2 to 10 CandV gave me this message:
Not AAC encoded - MPEG Layer3 Audio

the day before CandV worked properly with old iTunes

the mp3 files are valid...

Yep, does not work in iTunes 10.

after updating to iTunes 10, mp3-Files can't converted anymore.
In the conversation options, iTunes is recognized as Version 1.0.0.x

I am using iTunes 10.0 and converted an MP3 file to AAC along with a whole compilation.  When I transferred the files (15) to C&V, only files 1-14 would transfer.  File 15 would not add even though A&V appeared to be accepting it, the green bar was working, but the file does not appear in the list.  And I receive no errors.

I can add the file by itself and it will appear in the list, however if I try to add the rest of the files, those files will not show up in the list,

Anyone have a solution or know why?

EDIT:
OK, it seems the sample rate on this one file is not the same as the others.  Any one know how I can correct this?

Hey Everyone,
   Does anyone know how to handle a multi volume story as a single Audio book in Itunes and on the Iphone.  I have been trying to rip my Lord of the Rings audio book so I can listen to it on my Iphone.  Chapter and Verse works great because I was able to rip the tracks to my computer and compile them into individual books with Chapter and Verse.   For anyone that doesn't know, The individual books are
1) The Rings Sets out
2) The Ring goes South
3) The Treason of Isengard
4) The Ring goes East
5) The War of the Ring
6) The end of the Third Age


When I navigate to the book in Itunes everything works great.  I can select LOTR and then each individual book shows up as a single track and I can select whichever one I want to play (Although i still do not know how to skip a single chapter when listening in Itunes).
 
 My main problem that I would like to fix is that when I syne the book to my iphone and I go to select LOTR each book shows up as part one, part 2, part 3 etc.  Although technically that is correct, I would like to be able to display the name of each part since according to the author it is a separate book.  So, does anyone know how to label a part of a book and get it to display on the Iphone?
